Project Summary

Following limited asbestos removal, we completed an internal soft-strip to remove aging features and prepare the structure for
re-finishing.

Additional below ground drainage was installed through the ground floor slab to provide additional facilities for the changing
needs of the academy.

Reinstatement works comprised internal finishes to re-position the visual arts block to support delivery of the new syllabus, providing staging, preparation and creating spaces for visual arts production, practice and performance.

Minor external works were also included in the scheme, providing step-free access to the new facility, bringing the existing structure into line with current access requirements, again, extending the life of this resource and promoting inclusion across the student body.
